This plex/nanoplasty straightening system is formulated primarily to STRAIGHTEN and REPAIR heavily chemically damaged/treated hair. This is hair affected by heavy bleach, perm/chemically treated hair.

It works on all hair types, from fine hair to thick afro. It performs outstandingly on chemically-treated bleached blonde hair due to the integrated plex bond repair formula.

For clients that get the Terre a Mer Keratin System but want the added boost of Plex in their hair for an added performance boost. This is called Keratin Fusion.

Step 1: Wash the client's hair thoroughly with Terre a Mer Clarifying Shampoo, performing a double wash if necessary.
Step 2: Remove excess moisture with a towel and cold/warm air from the hair dryer without drying it completely. It should still be damp. Section the hair with a tint brush, apply PLEX STRAIGHTENING (use between 30g (short hair) and 70g (long hair) and spread it with a fine tooth comb along each hair strand, ensuring thorough coverage and application. Remove excess product and let sit for 60 minutes under a heat machine or 90 minutes without a heat machine. The stronger the curl, the more time it takes to develop.
Step 3: Take the client to the basin and thoroughly rinse the hair and scalp with only cool to lukewarm water, ensuring the product has been rinsed off.
Step 4: Blow-wave the hair in small sections until the hair is 100% dry. Using 150°C to 230°C, flat iron straight each section 5-10 times (higher temperatures cause straighter results but will also cause more aggression on the hair fibre).
Step 5: Complete the flat ironing and finish with a Terre a Mer LEAVE IN treatment such as Protect or Ultimate Straight.
